Garbage Pick-up
Garbage is picked up every Wednesday starting at 7:00 a.m. If your garbage has not been picked up please call Badger Disposal at (920) 623-4766. . If you have large items and would like them picked up, you can call Badger Disposal at (920) 623-4766 and make arrangements.
Recycling
Recycles will be picked up every other Wednesday. Please place the recyclables at your curbside away from your regular garbage.
RECYCLING RULES: Badger request that all recyclables be placed in a clear plastic bag. This means that all of your recyclable materials (glass, paper, plastic, tin, and cardboard) can be mixed together in one bag, as long as one person can easily lift the bag. Place garage and recycling bags/containers at curb by 6:00 AM. Garbage person must be able to tell which is garbage and which is recycling or they will not take the bags.
Clear garbage bags are available at Piggly Wiggly Stores and Staples.
Brush Pick-up
Brush pick-up is on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Brush needs to be tied in bundles no longer than 6 feet and weighing less than 50 lbs. Only brush will be picked up - entire trees will not be picked up and is the responsibility of the homeowner to dispose of. Leaves need to be put in clear bags so the workers can clearly see the bags are leaves and not garbage. This is being done because the Village doesn't want to lose their privileges at the Town Dump, so please make sure to follow these rules and if you have any questions please feel free to contact the Village office.
LARGE ITEM PICKUP: The Village will have two large item days, one May 9th and the other October 10th
The following items are what will be picked up on Large items pickup day. Mattresses, box springs, carpet, sofas, chairs, beds, grills, dressers, lamps, and bikes. Please place by curbside by 7:00 AM. Please separate your garbage items from the junk and metal items or they could be taken as garbage. Items for metal collection should be no longer than six (6) feet and items such as swing sets and metal sheds with shingles or wood should be removed.
Prohibited items: refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, 55 gallon barrels, fuel tanks, balusters, wire, roofing and demolition material, lumber, fencing, trees, brush, tires, waste oil, leaves and lawn clippings.
You may contract Columbia County Recycling at 742-6651 for disposal of these items.
PLEASE NO SCAVENGING OF METAL ITEMS.
