Beginning in February 2017, the Department of Revenue Bureau of Equalization staff appraisers will be traveling thourghout a 15-county district, viewing selectred real estate parcels that sold during 2015.
Reviewing the sales involves viewing the land and improvements from the road, taking pictures, and in some cases, talking with the buyers and sellers involved in each real estate transaction. All work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2017.
Department of Revenue employees will have a Department-issued photo ID with them at all times.
The Wyocena Police Department, (608) 429-4896, and the Village Clerk's Office, (608) 429-2349, have a list of vehicles and license plates which will be used by the appraisers during this time.
