The Wyocena Bureau of Fire is paid on call fire department consisting of members from the Village of Wyocena, and surrounding communities. The Wyocena Bureau of Fire responds to emergency calls within the Village of Wyocena. The members also respond to mutual aid requests from neighboring departments. Wyocena is a member of Columbia County Fire Association and MABAS Division 135. There are currently 18 members, operating of one station, serving the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The village's ISO rating is class 5 for commercial and Industrial properties and class 4 for 1 and 2 family residential properties. Insurers may use this classification to help determine premium credits.

The Wyocena Bureau of Fire currently has 4 rigs in service:

  • 2006 HME Rescue Engine- 2000gpm/1020 tank
  • 1985 Pierce Arrow Engine-1500gpm/750 tank
  • 1992 Monroe/GMC Top-Kick Pumper/Tanker- 1000gpm front mount/1500 tank
  • 1986 5/4 Ton GMC Brush Truck- 70gpm/225 tank
